Community Engagement

ASGCU’s Community Engagement team is built to help students feel welcomed and connected on GCU’s campus. This team is specifically designed to promote the mission of ASGCU by hosting community events and interactions throughout the school year. Events hosted by the Community Engagement team are designed to help students engage with their peers and build positive relationships while in college. Our goal is that every GCU student feels connected, heard, and encouraged on GCU’s campus.

Midnight Breakfast

One of the most highly anticipated events of the school is ASGCU’s Midnight Breakfast. Midnight Breakfast is an event synonymous with Finals Week on GCU’s campus and serves as an excellent way for students to release some stress and enjoy time with friends before jumping back into studying. This year the event garnered record-breaking attendance as more than 2,000 students came out to the event, forming a line that spanned down Lopes Way.

East Campus Block Party

As the GCU campus continues to grow at a record pace, ASGCU’s Community Engagement team has sought new ways to connect students across campus. This year ASGCU launched its first-ever East Campus Block Party, where students had the opportunity to enjoy delicious food, play fun games, and win fantastic prizes. More than 700 students attended this year’s event.
